Police have confirmed that a 53-year-old man has been arrested after a car collided with a crowd of Liverpool fans at Monday's Premier League title parade.

"A 53-year-old white British man has been arrested after a car ploughed into a crowd of people during Liverpool FC’s Premier League victory parade," Merseyside Police said in a statement.
