Liverpool’s transfer business this summer has already made headlines, but the club could still have one more move left in them.
The Reds are pushing for a final Liverpool transfer swoop before the window closes, even as talks over Newcastle striker Alexander Isak remain active.

The Merseyside club have committed over £250 million to new arrivals, including record-breaking deals for Florian Wirtz and big-money additions Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.
Despite the heavy investment, player sales have balanced the books, with around £182 million recouped from high-profile departures like Luis Diaz (£65.5m to Bayern Munich) and Darwin Nunez (£46m to Al-Hilal).
This careful management has left Liverpool’s net spend at roughly £74 million, the lowest among the Premier League’s ‘Big Six’.
Even so, Arne Slot has made it clear the squad needs another wide option to compete on all fronts.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the head coach said:
“I see Hugo mainly as a No.9, that could also play from the left or together with another no.9.
Ben Doak is set to join Bournemouth in a £25 million deal, further underlining the need for depth.
With the deadline approaching, Liverpool’s hierarchy are working on a deal that could run alongside, and separate from, any agreement for Isak.
The Liverpool transfer swoop would strengthen the attack and give Slot the variety he wants heading into a demanding campaign.
