Liverpool have made it clear to Barcelona that Luis Diaz is not for sale - unless an astronomical offer is tabled for the Colombian.
The Spanish titans approached Liverpool about signing Diaz, but were swiftly turned down this week.
At 28, Diaz has only two years remaining on his current contract with the club and has been the subject of numerous transfer rumours this summer.
Saudi Pro League teams Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, as well as Barcelona, have all shown interest in him.
However, Liverpool are not willing to part ways with the player unless they receive a substantial offer that would enable them to replace him with a player of equal or greater quality.

Liverpool have taken note of Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes' £85million valuation by Saudi club Al-Hilal, despite being two years older than Diaz.
Therefore, they would demand more than that to consider selling him this summer.
Under manager Arne Slot, he is a key player who netted 17 goals in all competitions last season, helping Liverpool clinch the Premier League title.
Despite having only two years left on his contract, there are currently no plans to initiate contract negotiations with Diaz.
Liverpool are keen to capitalise on his peak years rather than sell him below his worth due to his contract situation.
This could mean they would be willing to let him leave for free in two years.
