Alexander isak wants a move to Liverpool.
In a potential blow to the striker’s transfer ambitions, the Reds are said to be prepared to walk away from a deal if they believe their rivals are pricing the 25-year-old out of the market.
The development comes after the club agreed to the sale of Darwin Nunez.
That transfer follows the £15m sale of Tyler Morton to Lyon, and frees up further funds for Liverpool as they prepare a second bid for Isak.

Newcastle rejected a first offer of £110m, plus add-ons, and are holding out for a British record £150m fee.
The departure of Nunez means the Premier League champions are now in a position to table a bid much closer to that valuation.
However, according to talkSPORT reporter Ben Jacobs, Liverpool will only sign Isak if the deal meets their criteria.
They reportedly will only come back in if Newcastle encourage a deal, and if the price signifies what they call ‘fair market value’.
Liverpool now have more funds after agreeing the sale of Darwin Nunez.
