It has been another day in the transfer market and yet another where Liverpool find themselves among the headlines.
The Reds seriously mean business this summer and ahead of their title-defending season, they are putting out a statement of intent to the rest of the division.
They continue to be linked with some of the biggest names in Europe and Arne Slot is just a few signings away from having a complete puzzle.
With the 2025/26 campaign now less than a month away, Liverpool are starting to apply pressure on teams as they look to accelerate their business, and things might all start to kick-off very soon.

The big news this week has been that Liverpool are preparing to make a move for Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, and there is said to be a ‘growing feeling’ around the club that he is tempted to join.
Sources at Liverpool state that Richard Hughes is not going into this blind and he believes there is a sneaky suspicion that they can sign the Swede this summer, even if it would cost at least £120m.
Isak has already said that Anfield is the best away ground he has been to, giving Liverpool fans a slight glimmer of hope from a minute detail.
This is certainly a story to keep a close eye on over the coming days as this week could be season-defining for the Reds already.

As reported on Tuesday, the Reds had basically given Newcastle an ultimatum by saying they will either sign Isak or Hugo Ekitike, meaning the Magpies had to make a decision.
Now, perhaps as a power move and to assert their dominance, Liverpool have made contact with Frankfurt to discuss a potential move for Ekitike, suggesting things are heating up.
Although it would still be a good move, it was said that the Reds would only make a move for the Frenchman if they felt Isak was not feasible, albeit that might be looking too far into things.

Frankfurt are holding out for around £85m for the 23-year-old, money that Liverpool clearly have to spend, but as things stand, it looks like one of Isak or Ekitike could be donning the Red shirt next season.

Luis Diaz has been linked with a move away all summer and now it looks more likely than ever as Liverpool are said to be happy to reduce their asking price.
They originally wanted €100m (£87m) to let him go, but are now reportedly willing to sell for closer to £70m, a fee that is much more realistic.
Liverpool want Real Madrid’s Rodrygo as his replacement, with the Spanish giants prepared to let him go for £86m, although the Reds want to negotiate that price.
Elsewhere today, Liverpool will still try and sign a striker even if Darwin Nunez stays, while the Reds are in talks to sign Will Wright from Salford City.
