Brentford boss Thomas Frank has weighed in on Bryan Mbeumo's future amid links with Liverpool.

Such talent has been enough to earn links to the next step in his career, the suggestion sometimes being to Liverpool.

The Telegraph has recently reported that Liverpool's rivals, Manchester United, have joined the queue of clubs vying for Mbeumo.



"I love the best players to stay at the club.

"We all know that we are a selling club, but they are that good.

They have developed massively, with Bryan he has been here six years.

"He's definitely done everything he can and just added layers every single season, and he's performing at a top level, both of them are performing at a top level."

Liverpool are likely to be active in the summer transfer window.

Securing a new left-back and a number nine are top of the agenda, with the Reds also weighing up their right-back options following Trent Alexander-Arnold's confirmed departure.

Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to join from Valencia, while potential centre-back signings are also under review.
