Jurgen Klopp had no new injury concerns as his Liverpool squad underwent training ahead of their Europa League clash with Atalanta on Thursday.

The Reds players went through their paces at the club’s AXA Training Centre on Wednesday afternoon, presenting Klopp with what is arguably the healthiest squad he’s had all season.

With the return of key players like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker, and Stefan Bajcetic to full training last week, Klopp’s team prepared for the quarter-final second leg in Italy without any fresh worries.

Despite coping with numerous injuries in recent months, Klopp now has just four first-team players unavailable.

Long-term absentee Joel Matip remains sidelined, alongside Thiago Alcantara and Ben Doak, while Conor Bradley joined them in the treatment room after injuring his ankle in Sunday’s 1-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace.

The Northern Ireland international is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of April.

To progress in the Europa League, Liverpool will need to score three times at the Gewiss Stadium to force extra time.

However, Klopp can take solace in seeing his five-man frontline, including Jota, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, and Mohamed Salah, all participating in training.

This attacking quintet has contributed 82 goals collectively this season, providing Klopp with ample firepower for the crucial match against Atalanta.

Stefan Bajcetic, who has faced injury setbacks over the past year, is available for selection after training at the AXA Centre.

The Spanish teenager, who has been limited to just two senior appearances since March of last year, was a substitute in last week’s Under-21s’ 3-0 win at Manchester United.

With Conor Bradley sidelined, Trent Alexander-Arnold is in contention to start his first game since early February.

Additionally, academy prospects Jayden Danns, Bobby Clark, and James McConnell participated in training alongside the first team.

Meanwhile, Alisson showed no signs of discomfort after making his first start in over two months against Palace on Sunday.

The Brazilian goalkeeper is competing with Caoimhin Kelleher for a starting spot in goal.

Liverpool travelling squad: Alisson, Gomez, Endo, Van Dijk, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Mac Allister, Salah, Adrian, Jones, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Tsimikas, Robertson, Gravenberch, Clark, McConnell, Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Danns, Quansah.
