Liverpool FC has unveiled a special retail range celebrating the 20th anniversary of their legendary 2005 UEFA Champions League victory in Istanbul, a night etched into not just Liverpool folklore but within the annals of football history
The collection, available now, pays tribute to one of the sport’s greatest comebacks, when the Reds overturned a 3-0 halftime deficit against a legendary AC Milan side to lift their fifth European Cup.

The Istanbul 2005 Anniversary Collection features apparel and memorabilia designed to evoke the spirit of that iconic night.
Dominated by black, grey, and red tones, the lineup includes T-shirts, polo shirts, scarves, hats, and a long-sleeve replica of the jersey worn during the final.
A standout piece is the special-edition blackout jersey, which reimagines the original home shirt with gold accents and embedded NFC technology in the crest.
Scanning the crest with a smartphone unlocks exclusive content, including an interview with legendary defender Sami Hyypia, who started in the final.
The sleek black jersey adorned with gold detailing.
The crest features a golden Liverbird flanked by the words “European Champions – Istanbul 2005” and five stars symbolizing the club’s continental titles at the time.
A nostalgic touch comes via the return of Carlsberg-the club’s sponsor during the 2005 final-in gold lettering across the chest.
Hyypia reflected on the achievement, saying to liverpoolfc.com:
“Somehow you didn’t realise what you had achieved, but it was a great feeling.
When you’re a professional football player, you’d like to win the Champions League at least once, and we managed to do it in Istanbul.”
Alongside the apparel, the collection includes signed memorabilia from members of the 2005 squad, adding a personal touch for collectors?
The range is available through Liverpool’s official online store, the LFC Store app, and physical retail locations worldwide.
The limited-edition blackout shirt, made by In-House, has been on the shelves since May 6th and retails for £55.
