Brøndby sporting director Carsten Vagn Jensen has offered an update on the future of Japanese U23 international Yuito Suzuki.

Several names have already been mentioned and Japanese playmaker Yuito Suzuki is one of them.

According to Rousing the Kop, Liverpool scouts were present for the Brøndby clash against FC Midtjylland earlier in April, where Suzuki scored both goals in the 2-1.

Speaking to Bold, Jansen offered an update on the future of Suzuki, where he claimed the 'goal' is to keep him at the club despite the interest from Liverpool - but admitted an exit is a possibility.

Liverpool.com says: Suzuki may not be ready for Liverpool currently but he is an exciting prospect nonetheless.

If there is a battle for his signature, Liverpool should lean on midfielder Wataru Endõ to contact the Japanese U23 international to persuade him to come to Anfield instead of other teams across world football.
