Liverpool have taken a keen interest in the son of former Manchester City and Real Madrid man Robinho.

The teenager is primarily a forward, capable of playing across the front line, and can also operate as an attacking midfielder or left winger

Despite often beginning games on the bench, Robinho Jnr has impressed in cameo appearances, combining pace with a low center of gravity and a keen eye for goal.

His performances have drawn comparisons to Neymar and Rodrygo – all of whom graduated from Santos’ famed youth system

Lewis Steele, in his Liverpool Confidential, has revealed that Liverpool scout Dassler Marques has been watching the son of Robinho on multiple occasions:

“Liverpool have had a scout present at a number of the matches of Brazilian giants Santos this year – and Confidential understands they are there to keep an eye on the son of former Real Madrid and Manchester City star Robinho.”

“Robinho Jnr, 17, is on the verge of the first team at the Sao Paulo club whose famous ex-players include Pele, Neymar and Rodrygo, to name just three.”

“Reds scout Dassler Marques has been present at many games this season watching Robinho Jnr despite the fact he is often a substitute.”

“Neymar, who returned to Santos last year, has been spending a lot of time with the teenager on the pitch.”
