According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano (via Here We Go Podcast), Liverpool believe they’ve got a “big, big chance” to sign the Newcastle striker — and right now, there’s no serious competition.

That’s music to the ears of a club looking to avoid another transfer battle this summer.

Romano said, “They believe Alexander Isak is a perfect, perfect opportunity… In some moments it’s about the opportunity… and Liverpool feel this is their opportunity to get the player.”

He added, “At the moment there is basically no direct competition… They have the chance to go big and they don’t want to miss this.”

Isak isn’t just available — he’s also interested.
