The Premier League champions were not willing to sell Doak unless this was included.

The Scotland international has sealed a £25million move to join Andoni Iraola's men, taking Liverpool 's total sales this summer to a whopping £206m - a figure that could potentially reach £227m.

A Liverpool statement confirmed: "Liverpool FC can confirm Ben Doak has completed a permanent transfer to AFC Bournemouth.

This summer Nottingham Forest and Leeds also registered interest in him, with a bid from Portuguese outfit Porto.

The huge sales are helping to offset the club's huge summer spend in excess of £300m.
