Former Bournemouth star Charlie Daniels believes the addition of Milos Kerkez will give Liverpool the ideal scenario at left-back - if they can retain Andy Robertson this summer.
Kerkez officially completed his £40m to Anfield on Thursday to bring an end to months of speculation linking the Hungary international with the Premier League champions.
Earlier this month, however, the long-serving Robertson had been linked with Atletico Madrid, with the La Liga side weighing up a move for the Scotland captain, who is now inside the final 12 months of his Anfield deal.

Daniels played for Bournemouth for eight years, between 2012 and 2020, and has kept tabs on the development of Kerkez at his former club since leaving the Vitality Stadium.
Now academy coach at Watford, Daniels told the ECHO the Reds are getting one of the finest young full-backs around.
"I think that he is a fantastic left-back already but because he is so young he still has a lot to develop and a lot to learn and develop into," Daniels said.
"He is very attacking, he likes to get forward at every opportunity and he times his runs very well.

"I think he can mix it up well with his team-mates and he is a great character from what I hear.
He is a really bubbly person to have around the place and I think he will fit right in with the squad that is there, I don't think it will take him much time to settle.
"He obviously knows Dominik Szoboszlai from the Hungarian national team so that will help him and I think he will get in there and be a replacement for Robertson, whenever that happens.
Under the manager's guidance and his staff, I am sure they will make him a very good left-back."
On the internal battle between Kerkez and Robertson for a place in the Reds' team this coming campaign, Daniels added: "Milos knows who Robertson is and he has watched him for a number of years and that is the right way to go about it.
"If the team wants to have success then everyone needs to be on the same page and everyone needs to realise that everyone is needed to win the Premier League, Champions League, the Cups.
"Everyone is a part of it and that is why the best teams have so much success because they work together.
Yes there is competition between players but they are not against each other they are driving each other to be better and better.

"Together we have to work hard and encourage each other because at some point I am going to be playing and at some point, you're going to be playing because we are at Liverpool Football Club, so that is the way it is going to be because we've got so many games coming up."
Kerkez is likely to make his unofficial debut when the champions are entertained by Championship side Preston North End on July 13.
