Liverpool have reportedly set a price for their midfielder Harvey Elliott ahead of the summer transfer window opening.

The 22-year-old is a boyhood Red but this season he has been used sparingly by new manager Arne Slot.

A broken foot at the beginning of the season halted Elliott's momentum entirely and even though he returned to the squad at the end of November, he could not force his way into the starting XI in the Premier League regularly.

While Elliott clearly has a close bond with the club, he also has to think of his career.

TalkSPORT understands that Elliott is considering his future on Merseyside and if he chooses to push for an exit, there will be a host of clubs happy to buy him.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are just one of the teams thought to be keen on the Englishman.

If Wolves are to bid for the midfielder at the end of this season, it is expected that the Reds would be looking for an offer in the region of £40m+ before they agree to sell him.

Sticking with Wolves, it seems that they are looking to make a statement at the end of this season by trying to keep hold of Rayan Ait-Nouri.

The Telegraph understands that Wolves are wanting to offer Ait-Nouri a new deal at the end of the season as they anticipate losing Matheus Cunha for £62.5m.

As such, they don't want to let another star player leave.

The newspaper credits Liverpool with interest in the Algerian international but it is claimed that AFC Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez is considered to be the Reds' top target at left-back.
