Liverpool midfielder Luca Stephenson is set to spend another season on loan at Dundee United.
The Reds are close to an agreement with the Scottish Premiership side for Stephenson, who will sign a new long-term contract before returning to Tannadice.
Stephenson spent last term on loan at Dundee United, where he made 34 appearances while scoring three goals and providing two assists.
He was such a success for the Tangerines that he was named their Young Player of the Season with his performances making him a loan target for a number of clubs this summer.

Championship side Swansea City and League One outfits Cardiff City, Reading and Rotherham United were all interested, while another Scottish Premiership club, Aberdeen, considered a permanent move.
Stephenson featured regularly during pre-season for Liverpool and, as part of the tour to the Far East, impressed the Reds' senior coaching staff during both training and games when filling in at right-back.

He joined Liverpool from Sunderland at under-15 level and subsequently progressed through the ranks, and had a season on loan at League Two side Barrow in 2023/24.
Liverpool have already agreed a number of temporary exits this summer with Vitezslav Jaros spending the season at Ajax, fellow goalkeeper Harvey Davies going to League Two side Crawley Town, left-back Owen Beck at Championship side Derby County and Isaac Mabaya heading for Wigan Athletic in League One.
