Liverpool will round off their pre-season campaign with two Anfield friendlies.

Athletic Bilbao are set to provide the opposition for the Premier League champions’ final test across two games on Monday, August 4.

The Basque outfit previously visited to the red half of Merseyside in August 2021, when they cancelled out Diogo Jota’s early opener in a 1-1 draw.

Supporters buying tickets for the Reds’ final warm-up encounter will be allowed to take in both games, which kick off at 5pm and 8pm respectively.

Turnstiles will close shortly after kick-off of the first match and no entry will be permitted solely for the second match.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets only if they’re able to attend both matches.

Season ticket holders and All Red members will be able to buy tickets priced at £35 for adults; juniors £4; young adults at £17.50 and over 65s at £26.25.

Los Leones become the third La Liga club to venture to Anfield for a friendly in 12 months after last summer’s encounters with Sevilla and Las Palmas.

Following the double match, Arne Slot’s side will take on Crystal Palace in the Community Shield before the Premier League season begins on August 16.
