Bournemouth are on the brink of securing a deal for Liverpool's young forward Ben Doak, with a transfer fee believed to be around £25 million.
The 19-year-old has been on the radar of FC Porto and Premier League clubs including Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham, following an impressive loan stint at Championship side Middlesbrough last season.

However, it appears that Bournemouth are in pole position to sign the Scottish international, who moved to Liverpool from Celtic for a mere £600,000 in May 2022.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Bournemouth are prepared to meet Liverpool's £25m asking price for Doak.
During his 2024-25 season loan at Middlesbrough, Doak netted three goals and provided seven assists in 24 Championship matches before a hamstring injury in January cut his season short.
Before his injury, Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town had shown interest in the forward.
Doak, who has ten senior appearances for Liverpool under his belt, was an unused substitute in Sunday's FA Cup Community Shield loss to Crystal Palace.
Bournemouth are keen to bolster their attacking options after agreeing to sell Dango Ouattara to Brentford in a deal potentially worth up to £42.5m.
Liverpool will host Bournemouth at Anfield on Friday night in the opening Premier League match of the new season.
It promises to be a poignant evening for the Reds as they play their first Premier League match since the tragic passing of Diogo Jota last month.
Liverpool's head coach, Arne Slot, has disclosed that Jota's wife and three children are expected to be present at Anfield on Friday night.
"We know that this will be a very emotional occasion, given it is the first league game we have played since we lost Diogo and Andre," Slot penned in his programme notes.
"As I have said previously, the tributes that have been paid throughout the football world, and especially within the LFC community, have been truly special, and I know that tonight we will come together to honour them once more.
"I believe that Diogo's wife and his family will be in attendance and it is important that, as a club, we show that they will always have our love and support as they deal with this most tragic of situations.
We are there for them always."
Slot is expected to hand competitive home debuts to a host of new players, including Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz, and Hugo Ekitike, as the Reds begin their title defence at Anfield.
Liverpool will be without key midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, who is suspended after being sent off against Crystal Palace in the final match of last season.
