With Luis Diaz also set to join Bayern Munich after a £65.5million deal was agreed, attention now inevitably shifts to what comes next for the club and Isak is believed to be high on their list of potential targets.

Journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims Liverpool plan to open talks with Newcastle within the next 48 hours to inform them that a 'written offer will be submitted' for their talisman

The report claims Isak has already Liverpool's management the green light on personal terms.

Tavolieri also notes that a five-year contract perfectly matches the player's salary expectations.
