Díaz has been vital to Liverpool’s attack.

With boss Arne Slot settling in and key attackers still adapting, Díaz remains one of the most reliable pieces in the squad.

Losing him without a solid replacement could leave the team short out wide — and short on goals.

If Liverpool are truly moving into a new era, keeping players like Díaz around might be just as important as bringing new ones in.
