Darwin Nunez is 'likely to depart' Liverpool this summer, it has been claimed.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Reds from Benfica for a club-record fee of £85million (including add-ons) in June 2022, has struggled throughout his time at Anfield.
Although Nunez scored a combined 33 goals in 96 matches during his first two years at Liverpool, his finishing flattered to deceive and that led to criticism surrounding the forward's future.
There was talk that he could have left the Reds last summer, but instead he will be finishing the season with a Premier League title winner's medal.
However, Nunez's form has been uninspiring this season.
It has increased speculation that the Reds are going to attempt to offload Nunez and the Daily Mail report that he is expected to leave the club.

Ekitike, 22, has been compared to Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak and has scored an impressive 22 goals and added 10 assists in 45 matches this season.
The Frenchman has four years left on his contract and could be available for around £67m this summer - almost FOUR times the sum Frankfurt spent to sign him from Paris Saint-Germain.
Etitike arrived at Frankfurt on a permanent deal for £17.1m last July after spending the second half of last season on loan in the Bundesliga.
