Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has tragically died in a car crash, according to reports.

The 28-year-old and his brother, Andre, were killed while they were travelling from Penafiel went their car went off the road, per Marca.

The incident occurred on the A-52 in the Spanish province of Zamora.

Jota's tragic death came just two weeks after he married long-term girlfriend Rute Cardoso in Portugal.

His last game came for Portugal in the Nations League final as they beat Spain on penalties.
