Liverpool star Federico Chiesa has seemingly 'liked' a post reporting on the Reds' transfer pursuit of Florian Wirtz.
Bayern Munich chief Herbert Hainer has been forced to admit that the 22-year-old is 'leaning towards' an Anfield move following interest of their own.
Arne Slot's side are in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over the acquisition of their star playmaker in a move that could shatter a club-record transfer fee.
The Reds emerged as contenders with Manchester City and the Bundesliga giants, after registering their interest, but reports suggest that they have fired their way to become the next step in Wirtz's career.
Wirtz is currently on holiday after Leverkusen's campaign came to an end last weekend, following their 2-2 draw with FSV Mainz.

However, the ECHO understands that the Reds are aiming to wrap up the deal as soon as possible, ahead of him joining up with Germany ahead of their UEFA Nations League double-header in June.
One of the current Liverpool squad has been active on social media as the reports ramp up that Wirtz's preferred destination is Anfield.

Chiesa appeared to like a post from Fabrizio Romano, who reported that 'total agreement' on personal terms had been reached between Liverpool and the Germany starlet.
The Italy international was one of the 1.4million Instagram users who liked the post.
It comes during a bubbling transfer pursuit from Liverpool, which has intensified over recent days.

Contact was made on Friday over a blockbuster transfer ahead of the 2025/26 campaign where the Reds will be looking to successfully defend their Premier League crown.
And Bayern, who were previously considered favourites to sign Wirtz in the summer from title rivals Leverkusen, dropped their clearest message yet that they are seemingly resigned to losing out on his services.

Hainer said: "Max Eberl [director of sport at Bayern] informed me that Florian Wirtz is, probably, leaning towards Liverpool.
I can't say how things will transpire with Leverkusen."
