Multiple arrivals are on the way to Liverpool as the club continues a busy transfer window this summer.

The Florian Wirtz transfer saga is still going strong, with the club still negotiating a transfer fee for the young midfielder.

After signing Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen for €35 million, Liverpool aren’t stopping.

They are reportedly willing to pay nearly €130 million — a record-breaking fee — for the German midfielder.

The Merseyside club is close to signing Bournemouth fullback Milos Kerkez for approximately €45 million, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Kerkez’s addition as a left-back is putting Scottish international Andy Robertson’s future at the club in doubt.

Andy Robertson was seen addressing Liverpool’s move to sign the Hungarian fullback during his international duty.

The experienced fullback said: “We’re not daft, it looks as if a deal could potentially be done.”

He also added: “But, until that is done, I’ve not even given that a second thought.

I’ve got confidence in my own ability and that drives me forward.”

It appears that he understands the situation well and is prepared to handle it maturely.

The Scottish international spoke about his legacy at the club, saying: “I’ve had eight fantastic years at Liverpool in terms of winning trophies and being a mainstay in the team, which I’m incredibly proud of.”

Robertson has scored 11 goals and provided 67 assists in 342 appearances for the Reds, winning two Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League trophy in that time.

He also addressed his age and current mindset: “I’m not getting any younger.

I can’t change my age, but I still believe I’ve got a lot to give and that’s what I focus on.”

The left-back, who will turn 32 next year, seems fully aware of where he stands.

He concluded by saying: “I focus on myself – you can’t focus on other people or who you’re competing with.”
