Dominik Szoboszlai has told Trent Alexander-Arnold to "enjoy" the next chapter of his career after the defender confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, is out of contract and on Bank Holiday Monday confirmed he had made the difficult decision to depart his boyhood club of more than 20 years when his contract expires on June 30.
Since making his debut at the start of the 2016/2017 season, Alexander-Arnold has won the Premier League twice, as well as the Champions League, League Cup, FA Cup and other medals across his 352 appearances for the Reds.
Now, though, the defender will have a maximum of three more appearances for the club - starting against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon - before he closes the page on this chapter of his career.
Alexander-Arnold is widely expected to join Real Madrid.

But, despite the Spanish giants being clear rivals of the Reds, with eight meetings across all competitions since the 2018 Champions League final in Kiev, that hasn't stopped Szoboszlai from wishing Alexander-Arnold well in his new venture.
When re-posting the video of Alexander-Arnold confirming his Liverpool exit, Szoboszlai wrote: "My boy.
Love you and enjoy [love heart]."
Alexander-Arnold has played an instrumental role in Liverpool's Premier League title win this season, featuring in 28 out of a possible 35 games so far.

Discussing his exit, the England international said: "One hundred per cent, [staying was] a massive possibility.
"I've got full confidence in the manager and the staff and the club going forward.
"It's not about me thinking we're not going to fight for titles or fight for trophies season-in, season-out because I knew from these first few moments with the manager that he was a winner, he was aiming to go and win things.
"And you've seen that this season with the way that we've played."
He added: "So it was never about not having confidence in that, it just boiled down to what I felt I needed, and that is a change.
"That's something I need to do on my personal journey as a person, but also as a player and a professional, to go and challenge myself elsewhere.
