Trent Alexander-Arnold made an announcement on Monday confirming his Liverpool departure and his teammate had something to say about this.
Merseyside’s very own Alexander-Arnold has decided to leave his boyhood club ending a 20-year-old relationship.
After playing his 352nd senior match for the Reds on Sunday against Chelsea, the England international came up with a public announcement, confirming all the rumours of a transfer out.
Social media has been flooded with comments and wishes for the outbound Scouser from his teammates, ex-players and fans.
While most have congratulated him, some have been reluctant with questions about his integrity for not staying at Anfield.

One of the top Reds, Mohamed Salah, has also not been averse to congratulating Trent on social media.
The duo has featured together in 317 games across all competitions, combining 19 goals during the 24,502 minutes played together.
Amongst the 19, Salah scored 13 goals assisted by Alexander-Arnold, and Alexander-Arnold scored 6 goals assisted by Salah (stats via Transfermarkt).
Praising and acknowledging his partner on the right half of the pitch, the Egyptian international wrote in his Instagram post,
“It’s been a pleasure sharing a special friendship with you and playing alongside you.
I wish you the best, and I am sure we will meet again.”
This comment has made many speculate over the fact of how their on-pitch bond will be tested once they face each other in future clashes.
It also highlights how contrasting their situations have been as the 32-year-old renewed his contract to stay whereas the latter chose to leave.
What do you think Kopites, should Trent Alexander-Arnold have stayed or he did the right thing?
