Marco Rossi's side currently sit in third place in their World Cup qualification group and face a fight to secure their place in the finals in North America next summer.

The current international break saw Hungary held to a 2-2 draw by the Republic of Ireland.

Szoboszlai will now return to club duties with Liverpool.

He will rejoin the squad this week as preparations for the weekend’s Premier League clash against Burnley at Turf Moor step up.

The midfielder scored a stunning free kick to earn his team what could be a crucial three points against Arsenal before the international break.
