Liverpool stars Luis Diaz, Federico Chiesa, and Darwin Nunez have all been linked with moves away during the summer transfer window.
Chiesa’s place in the Reds’ team is still no clearer as he made a surprise selection to start against Preston on Sunday.
The Italy international has been hampered by injuries and has not been the same player that lit up Euro 2020 with Italy.
He struggled for playing time last season alongside Darwin Nunez, who is attracting interest from Napoli and Saudi Pro League clubs.
Nunez scored in the Reds’ 3-1 win at Championship side Preston North End in their opening pre-season friendly.
The 26-year-old fell down the pecking order for Liverpool last term under new boss Arne Slot and started only one Premier League game after Boxing Day.
For Diaz, he was instrumental for Liverpool, scoring 17 goals and registering eight assists in 50 appearances in all competitions as the Reds clinched their 20th league title.
The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona and Bayern Munich as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia this summer, despite hinting that he was happy at Liverpool.
He told Colombian influencer Mauricio Gomez: “We’re there, negotiating.
We’ll see what can be achieved, for us and for the club.
We’ll try to do our best and make the best decision.”
Pushed on interest from Saudi side Al-Nassr, he added: “We’re in the process of negotiations, talking with the club, with Liverpool, with everyone who’s approaching us.
Trying to make the best decision now.”
Liverpool rejected Bayern’s opening proposal worth €67.5million (£58.6m) for Diaz on Tuesday.
According to The Athletic, Diaz has made clear to the club he wants to leave this summer.
The online news portal claims that Liverpool have no intention of selling the forward.
