Liverpool youngster Amara Nallo was spotted in first-team training on Thursday ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
He can be seen crossing the Sky Sports camera’s around the 9 second mark.
Nallo was signed from West Ham’s youth academy last summer and has made impressive strides on Merseyside since signing on a five-year-deal.
Despite only being 17, the defender has already represented Liverpool’s U21 – including 16 outings for the U21s.
He has made 21 appearances across the various youth teams this season and now could be ready for a step up to men’s football.
Back in October last year U21 coach Barry Lewtas poured praise on Nallo’s performance after an U21 Premier League International Cup fixture against Benfica, saying:
“Amara was excellent.”
“Listen, he is just 16, and I don’t think we’ve ever asked a lad that young to play at centre-back against senior opposition.”
“I think the main thing for Amara is he played ever so well but he didn’t let any kind of mistakes or momentum shifts in the game affect him.”
“So he didn’t play like a 16-year-old, that’s for sure.”

The young talent has nearly broken into the first team twice, having been listed as a substitute in Premier League and FA Cup matches against Manchester City and Southampton, respectively.
Nallo is poised to become the latest academy player to secure a place in Klopp’s lineup.
The likes of Jayden Danns, Lewis Koumas, and James McConnell have all been granted their debuts by the German.
Carlton Cole, his former coach at West Ham U16, highlighted Nallo’s potential before his move to Liverpool via Football London:
“I would describe Amara as a Rolls-Royce of a center-back,” said Cole speaking to West Ham’s website in May last year.
“He has a great left foot and is elegant when he moves with the ball.”
“He is a player who has a high ceiling.”
