Liverpool have welcomed their seventh signing of the summer after confirming a swoop for Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The France Under-21 international will move to Anfield as part of a £79million deal, including add-ons, which was agreed between the Reds and the Bundesliga club this week.
Ekitike joins Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Armin Pecsi and Freddie Woodman in moving to the champions this summer - along with Giorgi Mamardashvili - who was confirmed as a new signing last year.
The Reds beat several teams to the signing of Ekitike - including Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle.
While the total package for the Ekitike deal is worth £79million, it's understood that Liverpool will pay an initial £69million plus a potential £10million in add-ons.

The rest of the Liverpool squad are currently in Hong Kong as part of their pre-season tour.
Ekitike will now travel to Asia to link up with his new teammates.
However, it seems one decision is yet to be made by the Reds, despite confirming the arrival of Ekitike.
Liverpool stated in their announcement for Ekitike that they are yet to hand the striker a squad number.
That's the same stance that has been confirmed when the club announced their six other signings this summer.
It remains to be seen what squad number Liverpool will give Ekitike later in the summer.
The decision may depend on which players leave Anfield before the September 1 deadline.
Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Federico Chiesa have all been linked with moves away from Liverpool this summer.
If all three players were to leave Merseyside, that in turn would see the numbers 7, 9 and 14 become available to this summer's new signings, such as Ekitike.
