Marc Guehi's proposed move to Liverpool is now in doubt, talkSPORT understands.
The Reds agreed a £35million deal late in the window and the 25-year-old was completed his medical in London after talkSPORT reported over the weekend about the Reds making an opening offer for the England international.

However, Palace have seen a move for Igor collapse as the Brighton defender looks set to join West Ham instead.
They are now scrambling for a replacement for Guehi with just under an hour to go until the deadline.
Liverpool are waiting for Palace to decide on whether to sanction the move.
Guehi scored for Palace on Sunday night in their 3-0 win away to Aston Villa.
But less than 24 hours later, his move to Anfield hangs in the balance.
Despite this, Liverpool are set to sign Alexander Isak by forking out a British record £125m to prise him away from Newcastle.
The transfer, when official, will take Liverpool's summer spending spree to a staggering £417.5m.
This would increase to £452.5m if the Guehi deal does get over the line.
Chelsea previously held the record after splashing out £434.5m on 11 new players in 2023.
Guehi's move would also occur weeks after Palace sold Eberechi Eze to Arsenal.

It will come as a blow to manager Oliver Glasner, who spoke after the win over Villa about the need to keep their captain.
"I told the chairman we have to keep Marc if we want to play a successful season.
"We have no chance to find the right replacement in one day.
We all agreed that we just sell Marc if we have the right replacement in the building.
"We wanted a replacement by 1 July.
He is one of our key players - he is our captain."
