Jarell Quansah is closing in on a £35m move to Bayer Leverkusen.
As reported by the ECHO on Friday, talks between Liverpool and Leverkusen have been further ongoing in recent days over a deal for Quansah.
Jonathan Tah joined Bayern Munich on a free transfer at the beginning of the month, and Quansah has been identified at the BayArena as the player to fill the void at centre-half.
While Marc Guehi is admired at Anfield, Liverpool are now prioritising a young centre-back.
And below is how Liverpool supporters, commenting in the comments section of the ECHO website, have been reacting to the developments.
