Luis Diaz is closing in on a move to Bayern Munich.
As reported by the ECHO on Sunday, the Reds have agreed a €75 million (£65.5 million) deal with the German giants for the Colombian.
Diaz was left out of Liverpool's squad for Saturday's 4-2 pre-season friendly defeat by AC Milan in Hong Kong because of speculation surrounding his future.
The 28-year-old’s exit comes after two separate attempts by Liverpool to agree on a contract extension failed.
The forward arrived at Anfield from Porto in a deal worth an initial £37m in January 2022 and went on to help the Reds win the Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup.
And Liverpool supporters, reacting to news of the deal, have been having their say in the comments section of the ECHO site.
Reader RedsForever said: "Isak, Salah, Ekitike, Wirtz, Gakpo - that will be amazing firepower, with Rio Ngumoha also looking like an amazing talent."
Commenter Theslotmachineynwa97 wrote: "Good for Lucho.
Isak next, we're never going to stop."

Darwinism remarked: "Gakpo, Wirtz, Ekitike, Salah, Nunez, Chiesa, Diaz and maybe Isak, plus Doak possibly being registered too this season.
That's too many forwards, something had to give.
"Sad to see Lucho go, I hope he does better than Coutinho and Mane, but I think it was more about who was open to leaving and who we could get the best deal for, rather than choosing who we offload."
Pangpang123 wrote: "It has been a good deal for all parties.
Diaz, Nunez, Elliot and Chiesa will all be sold."
