Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to be named on the Liverpool bench for the Premier League showdown against Arsenal with Arne Slot continuing to show faith in the right-back.
Alexander-Arnold will leave the Reds when his contract expires at the end of the season having chosen not to sign a new deal at Anfield.
He is expected to move to European Super League advocates Real Madrid.
Slot stated on Friday that Conor Bradley will start the visit of Arsenal on Sunday afternoon with the right-back likely to retain his place for the final two games at Brighton and at home to Crystal Palace.
That prompted speculation Alexander-Arnold would not be considered for any involvement during the closing few weeks of the season with the curtain drawn on his playing career at Liverpool.

But the ECHO understands the 26-year-old England international is poised to be among the substitutes for Sunday's game.
Slot has had no issue relying on the defender since being informed by the player during the March international break that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.

Alexander-Arnold returned from injury last month to score the winner as substitute in the 1-0 win at Leicester City and subsequently started the games against Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea when Bradley was carrying a knock suffered in training.
Alexander-Arnold has played a significant part in Liverpool's championship triumph this season.
He has started 28 of Liverpool's 35 Premier League games, sitting out four times through injury while emerging from the bench in the other three matches.
