Liverpool target Jeremie Frimpong has already hinted that he would rather join another Premier League club to complete his 'dream' move.
The player himself is understood to be keen on joining the Merseyside giants ahead of next season.

That was not always the case, though, with Frimpong having previously declared his love for a different Premier League team.
Three years ago, he was asked by Sport BILD to name his dream club and said that he had always wanted to join Chelsea.
"It was actually always Chelsea," he revealed.
"As a kid, I used to watch Chelsea games with my uncle, mostly because of Didier Drogba."
Frimpong appears to have changed his mind since then, having suggested in a subsequent interview that he would jump at the chance to join Liverpool.
Quizzed on the possibility of moving to Anfield by Ziggo Sport last year, he responded: "A great club, with history.
Who knows what the future will bring?"
Only time will tell if the Reds can finalise a move for Frimpong in the coming weeks, with negotiations believed to be progressing behind closed doors.
The player's agent, Jeffrey Lemmert, recently posted a cryptic message on Instagram which some Liverpool fans took as a positive sign.
He celebrated with his manager, Xabi Alonso, who recently announced that he will be leaving at the end of the season.
In a heartfelt tribute to the former Liverpool midfielder on Instagram, Frimpong wrote: "Lived it.
