Liverpool target Milos Kerkez has admitted he is flattered by stories linking him with big clubs and revealed he speaks to Reds star and Hungary compatriot Dominik Szoboszlai "every other day".

Kerkez is a major target for Liverpool this summer as they look to add competition at left-back alongside Andy Robertson.

Kerkez is turning heads across the Premier League after a superb season under boss Andoni Iraola.

He started all 38 games in the league, producing two goals and five assists.

There is now talk he could move to Anfield in the summer as Arne Slot looks to upgrade his squad and keep them in contention to retain their Premier League title next season.

Kerkez has hinted at an exit from the Vitality Stadium after a cryptic post on his Instagram account read: "I don't know what will happen in [the] next week but Cherries family thank you!"

He has now opened up on his future by admitting he is aware of speculation and said it was something that motivated him to keep improving as a player.

"Of course, something always leaks into the news," Kerkez told MLSZ TV.

All this doesn't break me, but it doesn't 'boost' my ego either, but it teaches me humility and motivates me."

Kerkez also spoke about his friendship with Liverpool midfielder Szoboszlai, who he said he spoke to almost every day after meeting in the Hungary national set up.
