Liverpool are set to complete another big sale as Ben Doak heads to Bournemouth following three years with the Reds.
Having signed from Celtic for a reported £600k, Liverpool will bank an enormous profit on Doak, with a £25m fee agreed with the Cherries.
Despite the satisfaction at the big payday, though, there will be some supporters who are disappointed at seeing Doak leave.
The 19-year-old clearly has a huge amount of potential, and showed that in glimpses during 10 senior appearances for Liverpool.
The Reds do not often get it wrong when it comes to selling off young talent, but with Doak there is a nagging feeling that they may have let one slip through the net.
Nevertheless, in the eventuality that the Scotsman does turn into a world beater at the Vitality Stadium, Liverpool have a healthy-looking release clause baked into the deal.

Doak showed his potential as recently as two weeks ago, when he lit up Anfield during a friendly against Athletic Bilbao.
There is every chance he goes on to be a huge success with Bournemouth, and according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Liverpool have half an eye on a future return for Doak, with a fee likely to stretch beyond £50m.

“More on Ben Doak, who will join Bournemouth for a £25m package,” Jacobs says on X.
As a rule, these tend to be agreed at at least double the transfer fee.
“Buyback included because Liverpool think Doak has elite potential, and regular first-team starts could yet see them return for him in the future.”

Jacobs also goes on to say that Liverpool would have had no problem selling Doak to Everton, but interest from the Hill Dickinson Stadium never solidified into a concrete offer.
“Bournemouth beat off competition from Porto.
Liverpool would have had no issue selling Doak to EFC.”
Interestingly, Bournemouth has been a well-used landing spot for young players moving on from Liverpool in recent times.
Both Dominic Solanke and Jordon Ibe spring to mind as players who could not make the grade at Anfield and moved down to the south coast instead.
Initially, both Solanke and Ibe were seen as expensive flops.
Eventually, Solanke turned into a huge hit at the Vitality, and was sold for a whopping £64m to Tottenham last year.
But the story of Ibe, a fast and tricky winger who looked ready to kick on in the Premier League, will perhaps be concerning Cherries fans as Doak signs in.
Seven years after joining Bournemouth, Ibe was playing non-league football.
Liverpool never chose to come back in for Solanke, despite his success.
If Doak can top that, maybe he’ll one day still have a future with the Reds.
