"Thinking we'd be part of the title race started early in the season, maybe after the Man Utd win (on September 1),” the manager tells Sky Sports.

"Before that, we played good teams but Man Utd was extra special.

We expected them to be top six, so to beat them 3-0 at their stadium made me realise we could compete for the league.
