The Uruguayan forward has struggled to match expectations at Anfield since his arrival from Benfica.
Nunez, 26, enjoyed a bright start to life at Anfield but scored just five Premier League goals last term after falling out of favour under Arne Slot.
Amid that interest, it appears that Liverpool would now be willing to lose money on Nunez in an effort to get him out of the door.
As per Corriere dello Sport, the Reds would be willing to sell Nunez for around £70m - a huge decrease on the £85m fee that they paid to sign him from Benfica three years ago.
Meanwhile, Nunez has three years left to run on his deal at Anfield.

Speaking earlier this year, Liverpool boss Slot was forced to deny that Nunez’s limited game time last term was due to a clause in his deal that would have seen Liverpool pay a £5m add-on to Benfica.
He said: “Do you always believe what journalists say?
This is completely new to me and I’ve said many times that I’m working at a club here where it’s really nice to work.
“So mainly sporting directors are judged by the players they bring in, for me it’s very important to have a great working environment and I have that with Richard (Hughes).
