Liverpool FC's Premier League title parade will be monumental event for the city as the team make their victory lap.

In 2019 an estimated 750,000 lined the streets to celebrate Liverpool's Champions League triumph and similar numbers are expected on the Bank Holiday Monday 26.

The 15km victory route, the same as the 2019 and 2022 parades, will start at Allerton Maze in the south of the city.

It will then travel northbound on Queens Drive towards the Fiveways roundabout and on to the Rocket flyover.

From there, it will journey along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road and Islington before approaching the city centre via Leeds Street and on to The Strand, concluding at Blundell Street.

It is anticipated the parade will last between three to five hours, though this is subject to change.

Cunard's newest ship Queen Anne will return to Liverpool as the luxury cruise line celebrates its 185th anniversary.

The ship, which was dedicated to the city of Liverpool at her naming ceremony on the Pier Head last June, will arrive in the River Mersey on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26, and will stay overnight at the Liverpool Cruise Terminal, departing late evening on May 27.

Last year's naming ceremony for Queen Anne saw Andrea Bocelli perform on the Pier Head during a day of celebrations.
