Liverpool are reportedly set to table a ‘significant’ offer for Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi.
The defender has just one year left on his contract at Selhurst Park and is therefore expected to be on the move this summer.
Guehi has been heavily linked with a move away from the Eagles over the past few seasons, with Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham all showing an interest in acquiring the services of the England international.

But Liverpool now look set to attempt to steal a march on other suitors by opening talks for the 24-year-old.

The Reds have quickly looked to raise funds to sign the ex-Chelsea defender via the sale of Jarrell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen.
Quansah is expected to pen a five-year deal with the German outfit.
Leverkusen are hopeful that the fee they are paying for the Liverpool academy graduate will be ‘covered’ if the centre-back continues to develop with regular gametime at the Bay Arena.

The deal is one of three that have been agreed between Liverpool and Leverkusen this summer.
The playmaker is set to complete his move to Anfield in the next 24 hours, though the deal is not related to the current talks involving Quansah.
