Liverpool are set to press on with their plans to sign Marc Guehi after selling Jarell Quansah.

The Reds have identified the Crystal Palace star as another addition this summer.

It was revealed last week that Liverpool chiefs were closing in on a deal for the England defender, who was set to become the club’s latest big-money addition.



And they also needed to make space for another centre-back, with Guehi making his decision on his next club based on the amount of game time he would receive.

And Liverpool chiefs have managed that in one fell swoop with academy graduate Quansah completing a switch to German side Bayer Leverkusen.
