Liverpool have been handed a massive boost in their pursuit for right-back to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold.
And so, with Alexander-Arnold heading for the exit doors, Arne Slot and key figures behind the scenes are searching for a replacement.
According to talkSPORT, Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong is someone the Reds are interested in.

Frimpong, 24, has been one of Leverkusen's star performers in recent years and was part of the side that won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal last season.
Although Leverkusen have endured a more difficult ride this term, Frimpong has still impressed, showing his talent at the highest level.
The Netherlands international has scored four goals, and added 12 assists, in 47 matches across all competitions from right-back.
While Frimpong's tackling and defensive capabilities (may) flatter to deceive, he's a real menace going forward and is one of the best in Europe in his position at driving into attacking areas.

Although he's a different type of full-back to Alexander-Arnold - and not as clean and accurate with his passing - Frimpong would provide another kind of threat to opponents.
And Liverpool could secure his signature for less than £30million this summer, according to an update on social media from Fabrizio Romano.
It's added that Frimpong has a release clause in his contract that may allow him to leave Leverkusen for just £29.7m during the transfer window.
Frimpong has the potential to be a bargain transfer for the Reds, who boast an advantage in getting a deal over the line, as he's a close friend of Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

While on international duty for the Netherlands in March, Frimpong spoke to Gravenberch with a scouse accent.
You alright, la?"
After seeing the exchange, some Liverpool supporters online were convinced that Frimpong would be moving to Anfield this summer.
