Richard Keys has thrown in his two cents regarding Liverpool's summer transfer action, claiming the Reds are sure to snap up Bournemouth's stalwart defender Milos Kerkez and Newcastle's ace striker Alexander Isak.

Sitting comfortably at the summit of the Premier League, Liverpool's title ambitions are all but secured with a commanding lead that makes lifting the trophy inevitable.

Slot made the choice to trust the squad he took over last summer, signing only Federico Chiesa from Juventus.

According to Keys, Liverpool's eyes are set on Kerkez who has shone at the Vitality Stadium, leaving Bournemouth in a challenging spot to keep hold of their key players.

With a price tag hovering around $53 million (£40 million), Kerkez seems within reach, yet pursuing Isak will hit the wallet harder following his shining season.

Despite Newcastle's insistence that their top gun isn't up for grabs — paired with their noteworthy season which will likely mean Isak doesn't push for an exit — Keys is assertive about Liverpool's chances.

Pulling off Isak's signing would cost vastly more than $100 million, but Keys exudes confidence in Liverpool's capability to boost their attacking force even further.

He expressed his viewpoint on his blog, stating: "Arne Slot has been trying to convince us because Arsenal and Villa have done so well in the CL we've still got a strong PL.
