Liverpool get their 2025/26 season finally underway on Sunday.
The Reds travel to Wembley Stadium to take on Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the Community Shield.
And fans will be treated to a host of new faces appearing in a competitive sense for the first time in their Anfield careers.
Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike are all expected to be included in the squad.
One man who won’t be among the Liverpool squad is their latest target Alexander Isak.
The Swedish forward firmly remains a Newcastle player but his future at St James’ Park is still far from certain.
Away from a new striker, the Reds also have another centre-back on their shopping list but it remains to be seen whether they manage to get a deal over the line.
With that being said, take a look at all of the latest transfer news and rumours from the red half of Merseyside:

Newcastle will NOT allow Alexander Isak to leave the club this summer amid interest from Liverpool.
It is further reported that Isak did not take the news particularly well.
The forward is currently training away from his teammates and did not appear over the weekend as Newcastle took on Espanyol and Atletico Madrid in pre-season friendlies.
