Keita linked with Leicester

Leicester City are reportedly monitoring Naby Keita and could move for the midfielder if Liverpool decide to sell this summer.

That's according to Football Insider.

The 26-year-old has ultimately struggled to make an impact at Anfield because of recurring inuries and has slipped down the Reds pecking order has a result.

Meanwhile, he was substituted last night before half-time after a disappointing display against Real Madrid.

And the report claims Liverpool could look to sell Keita for £30m this summer, and Leicester would be interested in making a move for his services with Brendan Rodgers a big fan of the midfielder.

Klopp on Keita substitution

So Naby Keita was canned last night just before half-time.

No injury this time. Jurgen Klopp has admitted it was tactical.

What does it mean for his Liverpool futue?

Klopp on fan-less Anfield

If it's a European night at Anfield but no fans are there to witness it, can it be famous?

Well we'll find out next Wednesday.

Jurgen Klopp knows it'll have to be if Liverpool are to progress.

Zidane on second leg

Boasting a 3-1 advantage with no fans at an Anfield return, Zinedine Zidane would have every reason to be confident ahead of next week's second leg.

But he's taking nothing for granted.

Real Madrid reaction

Right, let's get some Real Madrid reaction out the way.

Last night was, well, rubbish. I could say worse but this is a family-friendly blog here at the ECHO!

Anyway, here's Gorsty's verdict on Liverpool's 3-1 loss over in Spain...

Redknapp makes Kane to Liverpool claim

Former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp has suggested Liverpool could move for Harry Kane this summer.

Roberto Firmino's woes in front of goal in recent months have been well-documented, with the Brazilian even benched against Real Madrid on Tuesday night in favour of the in-form Diogo Jota.

And speaking on Sky Sports’ Pitch to Post Podcast, Redknapp believes the England captain could be the answer.

“Harry Kane maybe might be a player who is on their radar, who knows how Liverpool might address it.”

Haaland coach wants Liverpool move

Erling Haaland's first football coach wants the Borussia Dortmund star to join Liverpool.

The 20-year-old striker is one of the hottest prospects in world football and has been repeatedly linked with a transfer to several elite clubs around Europe this summer, including the Reds.

The Norway international has scored 33 goals and provided eight assists in just 32 games for Dortmund this season, which has naturally caused interest to peak around the young talisman.

And now, Alf Ingve Berntsen - Haaland's coach at Bryne FK - has opened up on his wish for the player to move to Anfield.
