According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United won't sanction a move for Alexander Isak until they sign two new strikers, and so far they've failed to add any this summer.
The Magpies have missed out on Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko, but their search continues.
The report claims that Newcastle would prefer to keep Isak, but the club have been preparing for the eventuality of him leaving.
The Daily Mail reckon Eddie Howe's side remain in talks with Brentford over a deal for Yoane Wissa.
The 28-year-old forward didn't feature for the Bees in their 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.
Wissa has reportedly been training away from the first-team squad.
