The summer transfer window is officially open, which means Liverpool can now complete new signings ahead of their Premier League title defence.
Liverpool have already secured their first signing of the summer with Jeremie Frimpong completing a permanent transfer from Bayer Leverkusen, with the Reds activating the £29.5 million release clause in the player's contract.
Attention will now turn toward the next transfer business that Liverpool could get over the line, with Florian Wirtz's name continuing to dominate headlines.
The Reds submitted a £109m bid to Leverkusen last week and remain in talks with the Bundesliga outfit to secure a deal to bring the Germany international to Anfield.
Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool, with reports suggesting that the left-back is valued by the Cherries at around £45m this summer.
In terms of potential departures, Luis Diaz is being heavily linked with a move away from Liverpool in the early days of the summer transfer window.
Barcelona and Al-Nassr have been credited with an interest in signing the Colombia international.

Ibrahima Konate contract latest: Liverpool talks continue
Contract talks between Ibrahima Konate and Liverpool progressed late last month, the ECHO can reveal.
The Frenchman is into the final year of his contract at Anfield and the Reds will not want to find themselves in a similar situation to the saga that saw Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold all come to within months of leaving on a free transfer.
While the England full-back will depart, Liverpool could well find themselves in another contract standoff.
A host of top European clubs are circling the Frenchman.
The Reds' central defender insists he is happy on Merseyside and hit out at "completely fake" speculation from some in the media when chatting on his 26th birthday last week.
