Liverpool recommended to Joao Pedro

Joao Pedro's Brighton teammate, defender Igor Julio, has said that if he were in the striker's place this summer, he would be doing all within his power to hunt down a move to Liverpool.

"I told [Pedro] that he has to think about what he wants from his career,” Igor told Trivela.

"In my opinion, if I were going to a ‘big six’ team, I would go to a team that fights for the Premier League, plays in the Champions League and is always in a position to win.

"I would go to a Liverpool team and I think he would fit in perfectly at Liverpool," he stated, though would admit: "It's because I've always dreamed of playing for Liverpool and I would go there."

The player in question is seemingly high on Newcastle United's radar instead.
