The latest understanding is that while talks are on going between Liverpool and Eintracht Frankfurt over Hugo Ekitike with an official bid about to be lodged, personal terms over a long-term agreement have already been agreed by the Reds with the player.

Newcastle are now out of the running and there's a suggestion Manchester United wanted to sign the player.

But Ekitike is now keen on Anfield.
