Rayan Cherki 'not a priority' for PSG this summer

Liverpool have been given a potential boost in the race to sign Lyon forward, Rayan Cherki this summer.

The French playmaker is available for as little as £19m this summer, has become a target for several top clubs in Europe - particularly in the Premier League.

Manchester United have been credited with interest as have Arne Slot's side, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United.

Bayern Munich and PSG have also been claimed to be in the race to sign Cherki but Foot Mercato suggested that the latter were not keen on exploring a deal.

Fabrizio Romano has also later confirmed the French champions' stance, adding that while plenty of conversations were had in Paris about the 21-year-old, he is not considered to be a priority.
